Accordion Noir Festival Parade! (Let’s have two!)
Todd Wong is instigating this year’s two Accordion Noir Festival parades. That’s right, there will be two chances to parade with your accordion this year, once at the beginning on Thursday the 13th, and again at the end of the Festival on Sunday the 16th.
The parades both start on the West side of the Creekside Community Centre, near the Olympic Village (that monument to public/private bail-outs). You should see it at the centre [B] of our handy map:
Parade #1. Thursday Sept 13 7:00 – 8:00pm Before the Big Squeeze at the Cobalt
Meet: West of Creekside Community Centre. (1 Athletes Way; [B] on map.)
Parade loudly from the Pedestrian Bridge to Science World, then make our way to the Big Squeeze at the Cobalt nightclub (917 Main Street; [C] on map) before the 9 pm performance time. 10 tickets are reserved for paraders for reduced cost of $10 (pre-paid by Todd Wong).
2) Sunday Sept 16 7:00 – 8:00pm
